What the MPC does
The Chatham County–Savannah Metropolitan Planning Commission reviews rezonings, zoning text amendments, subdivisions, general development and site plans, and land-use plan changes for Savannah and unincorporated Chatham County. On many items it makes a recommendation that City Council or the County Commission then decides. This site follows each petition from the agenda through to the decision recorded in the official minutes.
